Getting Started

Liam provides free phone consultations to anyone seeking help and guidance. Here you will have the opportunity to share what’s causing you pain and identify the kind of support you are looking for to help you walk through these difficult times. If it feels right, patients may set up an in-person or telehealth initial consultation as the next step in moving forward.

Initial Consultation

At the initial consultation, you will:

  • Share your situation and reasons for starting therapy
  • Receive helpful feedback related to initial impressions
  • Together, consider goals and life plans to achieve your dreams, reach optimal health and well-being
  • Explore self-care opportunities
  • Discuss approaches we can take to empower you, what is involved, and consider choices for them

During sessions, you will:

  • Build mindful awareness around your thoughts, feelings, and behavior that cause stress, anxiety, and discomfort in your body
  • Explore your relationship with people, places, things, and situations (including substances, food, self-care, and body image)
  • Find and bring out your authentic self, project your true voice, and set healthy boundaries with others.
  • Develop deeper, loving, and more connected relationships
  • Create a daily practice of being loving, kind, gentle, and compassionate with yourself and others
  • Find your inner power and the courage to express it
  • Master the tools you find work best in supporting you during your most challenging moments
  • Learn how spirit, life-force, motivation, inspiration, willfulness, and discipline impact your life
  • Come to appreciate your body, find the wisdom in it and the resources it can bring you

The length of treatment and frequency of sessions will vary according to the needs of the individual, couple, family, or group.

Schedule your free 15 minute consultation today.

In this fifteen minute consultation, you’ll have an opportunity to tell your story and share your struggles. Together we’ll identify what you really need and want and determine the best course of action for you.

Note: Groups are currently being held on Zoom.

1. Westchester, CA 90045 (next to Playa Vista and Playa Del Rey)

Address provided during scheduling.

2. Zoom TeleHealth (Domestic and International sessions provided)

These locations closed during the Pandemic:

3. 2904B Colorado Avenue, Santa Monica, CA 90404 (Closed during Pandemic)

Park on Berkeley and Stanford, where there is free 2-hour parking, at least during the day.  I would recommend driving around and reading the parking signs carefully so you know if this is still true in the evenings.  Most of the other streets require permits so they won’t work.  Broadway and Colorado also do have some spots, at least during the day.

4. 1020 Cole Ave, Hollywood, CA 90038 (Closed during Pandemic)

You can find parking south of Romaine Street on Cole Ave or on Cahuenga north of Romaine – or west of Cole Ave. Make sure you read the parking signs – there are some spots that you can only park for 1 hour until after 6 pm on weekdays and Saturdays.
